RDS / Radio Issues with CN01-02202B-01B

Hi,

i am experiencing RDS and Radio function issues with CN01-02202B-01B.

The Radio App seems to have Problems with the RDS Decoding. The RDS Information randomly switches to cryptic Display. Once this happens, RDS does not work at all anymore. (Display freezes with current cryptic display)

When powered off while RDS issue occurs (turn off ignition) and then launching Car again, the the Radio app starts, but without sound. The only way to solve this is to close Radio App manually and to re-start. Seems that the RDS issue prevents the Radio to operate probably.

I assume it's a software issue, rather than Hardware Defect. Is there any setting to solve this or do you have a new Firmware?

Honestly, i like the Radio and i was surprised about the good quality. However, working Radio Operation including RDS must be basic functionality and is cruciual for me for Car Radio in general and to keep the product.

Place the six download flies on the root content of an USB stick.Next,insert the USB into the rear USB slot of the unit.Lastly,click settings--- car settings--- system update.

first of all thank you very much for the quick reply. I was curious to see the improvements, so i already installed the Update.

Unfortunately this issue is not solved. The RDS is still messy. Is this maybe a hardware related issue? This might be the case when i am the only one experiencing this issue. Or do you have other customers with the same unit, also reporting this? Any kind of solution would be highly appreciated. Sorry for being a pain regarding this, but i am spending a lot of time in my Car per day and i am used to see Artist and Title name for the songs i am listening.

like the users "Elreinoderenu" and "mactimmey"  i have also exactly the same problems with the RDS decoding-issue with my CN01-02202B. Especially annoying with this issue:  With any "cryptical" displayed, the previously activated TA and AF function will be automatically and immediately deactivated. This is - of course - very annoying and dissapointing.

The second big bad issue: With any message from Sygic (or any other App), the Radio remains muted. I have always to switch back to the Radio-App, to hear music again.  I have tried all the possibilities from the sound settings. Without success.

It would be nice if they found a solution by largest 19th July. Then the moneyback guarantee expires and I would have to withdraw from the purchase and sent the Pumpkin back.
