Dual Zone function

Postby tht6335 » Tue Mar 29, 2016 2:32 am

Hi, I can't get Dual Zone function to work. The back seat monitor can display whatever is in the HU. But I can't playback a video file in the back and use the GPS in the front at the same time. How can this be done?

Hi there
You can play the DVD video first on the radio, and then press the HOME button on the left side of the front panel, and the video will still play at backstage, and then you enter into the GPS function. Then main unit will run GPS, and then rear headrest run video.
Regards!

Thanks for the reply. But it's still not working for me. I tried the followings

Start the Video app and played a file. Both front and back showed the video.
Pressed the Home button. Both screens showed home screen. I can hear the video is still playing in the background.
Pressed the Navigation icon, both screens showed the GPS app. I still can hear the video is being played in the background.
So it seems the dual zone is not working for me. Is there any other thing I need to do.

Hi, this unit can only support to display the DVD image on the rear monitor and at the same time the front unit run the navigation, if want to play the video from the sd card or USB stick, the rear monitor will display the same image as the front unit. If you want to keep the video from sd card or youtube, you need to run the video on the front video, hope you can understand.

I have model C0363. How does this work on mine? If I will put DVD to the HU, video will be shown on both HU and rear screen. However, if I will play something from e.g. usb stick, I can see video only from the HU and noting from the rear screen.

How does this work with C0363? If I will play dvd, it will be shown on both HU and rear screen. If I will play something from an USB-stick, I can see it only from HU and nothing from the rear screen. Why so?

Sounds to me like Software side issue. Would you mind to release a firmware upgrade to all of your units so everyone could enjoy this Feature?
Otherwise you would force your customers buying a new HU and this would be a pain :(
