Stereo Not Powering Down Properly and Backlighting Not Working

Postby NSouthwell182 » Sun Jul 16, 2017 4:33 pm

Hi All

Today I have had to remove my stereo from my car and replace it with the original as it had completely flattened my cars battery.

The stereo I have can be found on this link : http://www.autopumpkin.co.uk/android-5- ... -link.html

I have attached some photos of the loom that came with the unit.

Ive had trouble with the units button back lighting not working and with the cars interior lighting and the stereo won't completely power down when the cars ignition is off and the car is locked which is why my battery has gone dead.

Can anyone help me please??

I think I need a different wiring loom for the unit.

Kind Regards

Nick

Hi,
For the key light problem, you need to enter into factory setting page and tick the key light option.
For the battery drained problem, you can refer to the following thread.

Hi,

Should the stereo work normally (plug in and play) if it has the cable with the can bus decoder box instead of having to cut cables and attach them to the cigar lighter?

As I'd rather sort it out this way instead of cutting cables.

Regards

Nick

Hi,
If your car computer depends on the can bus system, the stereo should work normally with the ISO cable with can bus decoder.

Hi,
sorry,i can't understand your word well.
The ISO cable with the can bus decorder box is directly connect to the original connector like the ISO cable without the canbus. If you miss or don't get this cable, you can contact the customer service where you bought the unit to send you an ISO cable with the can bus.You need to tell them the SKU of the unit or your order number.
Regards.
