Unit doesn't turn off
Unit doesn't turn off
I just installed my android unit for my VW Polo and realised that it doesn't turn off when I turn off the ignition. Otherwise the unit works fine. Will I have to manually turn off the stereo each time I leave the car or have I done something wrong?
Re: Unit doesn't turn off
Hi there
It shouldn't be needs to manually turn it off. Could you please provide me your Order Number and Purchase Link so that I can check what item you have and gives you the suitable solution?
Regards!

Hi Chris
Thank you for your reply!
Ok, I see, your car must with can bus system, so there is no ACC wire from your original car harness connector.
So there is one simple solution that you can do is to modify the red ACC wire to get power from the ciggar light positive power, you may check the following link as referrence!

Re: Unit doesn't turn off
As a follow up I have fixed the problem.
I had to look up the wiring diagram for the car loom and then just move the pins on the stereo connector to the correct position (in my case the 12V accessories was in the wrong position).
I don't have much experience in this area but a bit of perseverance has paid off!
