sorry a bit late i had a problem like this after a wrong firmware/mcu update the unit would not boot in to anything just a black screen (bricked) i used a program called "sd firmware tool" its something like this ... i just loaded the update file and it self booted my firmware without trying to get it on to any recovery. although may not be your problem but maybe it is . my experience was it instantly gave me a recovery from which i could install mcu and firmware again

Hi,
I don't get the news about the update to android 5.1 from the factory.
The reason why the GPS did not work maybe the GPS antenna problem, the navigation software issue or the hardware fault.

Hi,
For the GPS problem, you can check whether the GPS connector has around 3.3V power on.You can refer to the following picture to check.

If not,the mainbord or the GPS module is broken. If yes, it should the antenna or the software problem, you may need to tell me more decails about the GPS problem.
For the time memory problem, did your unit display the power off info when you plug out the car key?

Good morning, I have the same problem as Daniel5008. I have tried to reinstall the firmware, change the GPS antenna, measure the voltage of the antenna output (it also gives me 3.3V) and I still can not get the GPS to work and save the clock time. Whenever I turn it on, it puts me back at 13:00.
Have you found the problem that solves these problems?
