After about a week of use, my Pumpkin 7" Universal stopped allowing me to enable wifi. Similar to one of the earlier posts I had seen in this forum, when you clock the ON for wifi it says its enabling, but after a few seconds it just falls back to OFF. I noticed that at the same time that this stopped working, that the USB cables ceased functioning as well - when I plug in a USB flash drive or any other device it no longer responds or acts like anything was plugged in (on the Head unit or the device itself).
I have performed the Restore to Factory and Clear Cache function but it hasn't seemed to resolve my issue.
For reference my purchase information is below:

Re: 7" 2DIN Universal Problem -> WiFi won't enable and USB stopped working
Hi, sorry about this.
About the RQ0255 wifi issue, can you reset the item to check? Just use a sharp thin sticker to press the RST hole on front panel.
If this still does not help, we can ask the factory to provide the latest firmware, and you can try to install it to check.
In order to avoid some customer misleading, we will send the firmware via email, hope you can understand.
Or you can contact us directly via our customer service email box: support@autopumpkin.com

Re: 7" 2DIN Universal Problem -> WiFi won't enable and USB stopped working
Great, I'll try the RST hole in the front - I didn't try that before, just the factory reset. I'll report back if that fixed the issue. In the meantime if you can have the firmware sent to my email I can have that ready to try as well. One question though, how do I load the firmware without the USB functionality? Is it performed through one of the other ports? I'm guessing maybe the SD port, but the only ports I see on the front there are the miniUSB port and the GPS card port - where do you actually insert an SD for installation and storage?

Hi, about the firmware and the load process, our customer service colleague will reply you soon.
You can perform the firmware through GPS slot with the micro sd card, you can use a new micro sd card, or use the gps card to install the firmware into the unit, before you format the gps card, you can back up the map data on your PC.
