Hi!
I have the pumpkin model S07. I always was unsatisfied with the sound quality. There was no bass. The Equalizer settings were not helpful. My old Ford-Radio sound was much better!
Today I installed the poweramplifier-app instead of the standard app and the sound quality is very well. Now I also wish this sound to get when the radio app is used. What can I do please. That`s a software bug. The build no. is rk3188-userdebug 22062016 if this info is helpful for you. Or just let me know which other info`s are requested to get support from ypu.

what sound quality are improved after using the poweramplifier app?
Do you mean you want to improve the radio app sound quality now?
Please first tell me your order number in amazon or buyer id in ebay,Pumpkin or AliExpress so that we can confirm more information about your unit and provide you positive solutions.
if you don't mind ,we will be appreciated if you provide us a video about the sound problem.

Thanks for your fast reply.
It was bought via Ebay transactions no. 172068501018 in July 2016.
There was no bass after installing of the android unit. just a flat sound. Of course I already played with the different sound modes but I had never a voluminous bass and highs. I tried every setting.
After installing of poweramplifier app I have the sound quality like before with the original Ford unit. But poweramplifier is a player only. So I also would like to get the same sound quality for the radio function.

If I use the original installed music player so occurs a flat sound only.
If I use the power amplifier app as music player so I have a voluminous sound.
The sound of radio app is still bad.
I already used the equalizer function which was installed but the sound quality was always horrible.

We test the model machine and think the sound quality is normal.
So we suggest you record a video to show us the problem directly.

The SQ of mine is just as good as the OEM kenwood touch screen unit it replaced.
