I connected the yellow and black direct to battery with no effect. Do I have to include the red as well to get it to work?

Hi,
The red wire works like the ACC wire of your car, the yellow wire is the memory wire.
So please connect both the red and yellow wire to the car battery, and tell me the result.

Tried red and yellow together. Does not boot up.

I attached a picture of the two wires I connected together. I also attached the stock wiring harness with wire locations in case you the wires are not in the same place as you thought.

Before buying a unit from these people, check the return shipping costs back to China and be prepared to pay that yourself.

My unit was DOA and my options at this point are shipping it back at minimum of $90 canadian taking 8 weeks or find some local shop to try and get it fixed here(Canada).

A lot of back and forth and so far no offer to pay my shipping to China. So keep in mind that the price, while attractive, is cheap for a reason.

Finally got my radio back after getting it repaired. It will now boot up the first time I hook it up but if I shut the vehicle off and it powers down for more than a few minutes it won't turn on unless I disconnect the iso cable from the back of the unit.

Any ideas?

Tried using a pin on the reset hole. No effect.

Only way to get the unit to power up is unplugging the bigger connector on the canbus adapter or unplugging the radio itself. If I unplug the adapter, I retain my radio settings. If I unplug the ISO connector on the radio I lose all my radio settings.

When it the unit powers off, it is completely dead. Cannot eject a cd, wont turn on etc.
