Hi Jammy,
I had a chance to test this further over the weekend. Now it seems, that only AT function causes the RDS errors. When AT is on, then RDS becomes cryptic. Also other settings like TA, REG got removed and do not work anymore when issue occurs.
What's the final outcome of this issue now?
By the way: Why don't you have a download-Section per product in which you share all the updates? Why do you distribute them only to customers complaining? Sorry don't understand your support philosophy.

For the radio messy code problem,this problem only happened in Germany.It seems that there is a little difficulty to solve butwe are trying out best to solve this problem.It doesn't required you return the unit for repaired.If we get the new software,we will send to you at first time.
There are many firmware and MCU files for different unit.And there are also several firmware and MCU files for one unit.The way how to flash the unit is complex and multitudinous.If our client make some mistakes in some tache/procession, the unit may suffer some damage and even lead to die.
This is why we don't public the firmware and MCU files.Hope your kind understanding.

I am speechless It's not "good will", it's law in Germany , that customers can return defective goods within 12 months if the third repair attempt was not successful! Pumkin is thereby breaking German law.
But it's getting even better. I just received a message from your "advantaged" Pumpkin Support.
Pumpkin is extorting me right now!
Pumpkin forces me to take a bad rating back before i get my money back.
What are these for criminal (!) behaviours ? I will have to report this form of extortion to Amazon and Ebay. Additionally I have to place this case as a criminal charge to the german government because this refuse to adhere to German law.

Hi,
you are allow to return the unit back for repairing and this is free if under warranty .
But we don't suggest you return the unit.Because will repair it by update the sorfware and send it back to you.I think this just waste time.

Perhaps it is different in China. But luckily the device was sold by Pumkin via Ebay Germany. The unit was also dispatched via Germany. And here customers have the legal right to withdraw defective goods after repeated unsuccessful attempt to repair the manufacturer from the purchase contract and get the money reimbursed. Here, the customer can not be expected to tolerate one repair after another for twelve months or even longer.
Meanwhile I'd phoned with the customer service of Ebay and had the process of my complaint described. Ebay also received the correspondence with the german pumpkin support - and was outraged. If Pumpkin refuses to refund the money, Ebay will take over this case. By the way: Pumkin has already taken this device on Ebay from the sale. And one other thing: Most of the negative reviews about Pumpkin refer to the refusal to take back defective devices and refund the purchase price.
I should have listened to these warnings.

I was surprised not to see my last post here. Did you delete it? I hope one thing is clear. Here in Germany money must be paid back after two unsuccessful attempts to repair. So we are not talking about "return and replace" with your allowance. Not sure, if this is really understood. If yes, I would now wait for your third repair attempt under following conditions. Please confirm:
1. By when do you have the fix?
2. If fix unsuccessful again, confirm return of money against defect unit.
