Sorry for the late reply due to the Chinese New Year's Day.
That's strange for us, when we tested the same unit with the same password 1234, and it worked.
You can install the update firmware for this unit and check if it helps.

Please follow the below steps to download and install the firmware.
Firstly download the update rar file through your browser, unzip it, then open it and copy all the files in the root inventory of the unzipped folder. Please use a USB stick to copy them, then plug the USB stick into the rear USB cable.
Power off the unit and turn on it again or just press the RST hole to start the update process.
