Doesn't start on ignition

Hi,
I have a Ford Galaxy 2009.
At first, the Radiio could not turn on. According to my research it was because the radio has received only the permanent plus but not the inition plus because the Quadlockstecker the car does not offer a inition plus.
I have bridged ignition plus with permanent plus on the supplied cable tree. Now the radio starts, however, only on button prees it can be switched on and off.

How can the radio be switched on and off with the vehicle key?? Does it need another Canbus?

According to your description,the inition plus you need to connect to positive pole of the cigarete lighter .In this way,when you turn the ignition off, the cigarete lighter will also be turn off.

Since the steering wheel control works correctly, there was a great deal of hope that it works just as well with the ignition plus. Looking for another cable from the cigarette lighter is a suboptimal solution because of a major intrusion into the car electrics.

There are ignition plus detection circuits (such as this one here https://www.ebay.de/itm/CAN-BUS-Connect ... 0594491192). Are there any experiences if they work reliably?

Or is there another solution?

Hi,
there should be two power cable in your package.Which cable did you used ? If you used the cable with can bus and then you can contact our pumpkin customer to change the can bus box.Or you can connect the red wire from our unit to the positive pole of the cigarette lighter not to the can bus box.
