nd0474h Steering controls not working meriva 2006

I just bought an ND0474H android 8.0 head unit and despite having a few problems that I've managed to find workarounds for, I am unable to get the steering wheel controls to work on a 2006 Meriva, which I'm assuming is a can bus issue. The sw1, sw2 method doesn't work, so I'm unsure how to solve the problem. I attached the original factory stereo to test the steering wheel controls aren't faulty, but they worked fine.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I also can't use voice commands to make calls through the head unit or through my phone as I get no audio from the phone (is there some way of doing this), it's hardly hands free if I have to look at the screen and scroll through contacts to call someone, it defeats the object of having a stereo like this. I can't even set one of the stereos buttons to open an app, there's no option to do that?

These are really basic things that should be straightforward, what a waste of money and a waste of my time. I've spent the last week trying get it to work the way it should.

So you aren't going to help with the steering wheel controls then? My car was listed as being compatible, what's the point in having the android functionality if none of the basic stuff works. I realise £270 is not a lot of money for an android head unit, but I work very hard for very little little money, so it's a lot to me, so your lazy, rude reply has made me absolutely furious. If you could possibly give me some advice on these other issues that would be great, if it's not too much trouble of course!!

sorry for my brief and unreasonable reply on the last post and sorry for the inaccurate info in the ads.
I consult our engineers again and they provide some solutions.
1. try to enter settings - car settings - extra settings (password : 123456)- model choose page and click the option "Opel..." ,then reboot the unit.
2.if first step doesn't help, you need to purchase a swc adapter . https://www.amazon.de/ctsvx002-2-Vauxha ... ll+CAN-Bus
I am very sorry that the BT in our unit doesn't support voice calling .If you want to use this function ,you can consider buying a car play/auto play adapter NA7005W from us .Here is an video for your reference .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-gkViR1GX0
In addition, you can find all the panel function in the panel button settings page.(enter settings - car settings - extra settings - panel key settings).you can not open the third party app via panel buttons .Hope your kind understandings.

Hi,
I bought the wiring harness you recommended, but I need to connect the block from the original harness to the new harness, but the words used are different. There's 3 wires on the new harness that are labelled:

Permanent 12v
Ground
Ignition 12v

The block for the original harness has:

TX
GND
GND
B+
ANT&AMP

How should I connect the 3 wires on the new harness to the ones that I have left from the original one.

I managed to sort out the wiring, but I'm now having issues with the autoplay usb you recommended. I followed the instructions carefully, but all I get when I open autoplay is a screen saying 'scan QR code to download carlife', I've installed android auto but the screen doesn't change. I was able to make a voice call through android auto, but the screen on the stereo continues displaying 'scan the QR code......'

Edit: I've now had enough time to test and so far I've tried 2 different phones, one running android 7.0 and one with android 8.0, I've uninstalled all apps and started again twice, I've tested with 3x genuine samsung charging cables and 2x very expensive non samsung cables and it will not connect. I scanned the QR code and installed the Chinese carlife app which worked straight away but the app is awful and is in Chinese, which isn't much use to me. The autoplay box has cost me an extra £60 so I would like to get this sorted out if possible. Thanks
