Engine whine over speakers w

How do you solve the problem of engine whine being hard through the speakers when the volume is turned off? Audi A4 b7 Cabriolet.

Hi,
you can plug out the unit and open the filter box(black square box) from the power cable and roll the amplifier knob to lower the noise.
