Firmware request (Autoradio Android 8.0 for Opel, SKU: ND0473B)

Hi,

1.) I have problems with BlueTooth connection, both Huawei P20 Lite and HTC 10 can not connect. Both mobile phones are on Android 8.
2.) iPhone X connects to BT but voice call volume is low, sound is not good, people can not hear me OK.
3.) Can not see contacts from my phone when using Bluetooth app.
4.) Low sound when playing music over A2DB, need to max out volume on head unit and mobile phone.
5.) Also bought Pumpkin External DAB+ Digital Radio Tuner, but after installation can not find any stations after scan and in my region there should be available stations as signal is OK.

What could be the problems for issues above ? Can you please provide new firmware and new BT app for my unit, thanks.

Hi,
1. maybe there is an incompatibility between the unit and these two phones. If you have a chance, could you mind testing other android phones? But first did the unit found the phones?
2.did you install the external mic and speak toward it? Where did you install the external mic? I suggest placing it on the top of the A-pillar.
3.first, you need to allow sync the contacts to the unit on your phone. Then, on the BT page of the unit, click the download/sync icon to download the contacts from the phone.

4. You can try to enter factory settings (password:3368) and adjust the BT gain or volume adjustment.

1.) Tested again with Huawei P20 Lite, unit found phone but when I click connect nothing happens. When try to search unit from phone, it can't find it.
2.) External mic is installed near steering wheel, so it's close to me. I maxed out volume when in voice call, then people can hear me little better, but still they hear lots of noise and not so good voice volume and quality
3.) Thanks, that did the trick
4.) Maxed BT to 20 under factory settings, now I would say it is OK
5.) Will test it again, can you please provide new DAB+ app because link from that topic is down
6.) I have CarPlay device (Model cpc200-cmap), but when I open application and plug phone it opens connecting window and it just loading, it won't connect. Tried both iPhone X on IOS 12 and Huawei P20 Lite on Android 8.0. Any suggestions, do I need to enable something on head unit ?

I can confirm issue #2 (poor quality of mic) on an Autopumpkin ND0474H in an Opel Astra, using the internal mic.

Hi,
item1, after you click the connection button on the unit, usually it takes a few seconds for the phone to show you the notification of inputting the comparing code. Please wait patiently and keep the phone on the BT page.
item2, you can contact the pumpkin customer service to change the external mic.

item6, because your carplay box isn't from us and we don't know it well . I suggest you contact its seller for help.
It seems that you had also contacted the pumpkin customer service for these issues. In fact, we are the same team. I suggest you just keep contacting the customer service ,not me. :)
