What is the last firmware on this radio.
Im still running android 7.1.2 may 2017.

Hi, usuallywe don't suggest our clients flash the unit if it works as it should. Because flashing is a danverous work. Is there anywhing wrong wrong with your unit?

I'm always use the last version of the firmware .
And I'm always connected to the internet through the hotspot of my phone.
Unlimited data.
So now its behind with the security patches.
The unit will not auto update .
There for the question..
I did not use the unit for a long time.
Because of the car it dit not fit in.

And if something happens .
I have always a firmware near by.
So I can restore it ,if needed .
And I don't need to wait a long time to get the firmware.

And I'm not a newbie in these kind of things.
I flash my current phone and old phones and tablet.
I know what I'm doing.

I did as you told.
Bud the unit does not recognise the file's.
Not in the both card slots.
Not in the USB.
Did format in fat32 en ext.
Did the filesin the root and then in a folder.
Zipped and unzipted.
Does not work.
They are not img or mcu files.
Or need I to ad the extension to the first file?

And I did find a sticker on top of a sticker and it has the numbers on it CN01-02303B-01B.

Only not much is changed.
The serial number is shorter
Now I can use tomtom navigation.
