can the night vision back up camera be taken apart and flipped

Postby comet424 » Fri Oct 20, 2017 3:24 pm

hi
on the 8 core radio I have that water proof 170 night vision back up camera from pumpkin now I have it on my license plate with the wire going up as that way sun doesn't get at the wire or you don't see the loop hook it up and its upside down

the radio doesn't seem to have a flip feature or where is the flip feature

if doeesnt I still wanna keep wire going straight up not down and then up

has anyone taken it apart and flipped it around?

I installed one of these this week and I wondered if I could mount it the other way up. There are 4 small silver screws that mount the camera to the licence plate. you can just invert the camera and re-install.

Cheers, Tony.

Edit: There is also a setting in extra settings where it's possible to flip the image.
