usb tethering

I have a new android stereo , order#111-2295443-8809046. It's a 7.1.2 device. I'm having trouble with the usb ports. I plugged in an usb camera and it seemed to be working, so i started on trying out a obb2 adapter. I never got the obd2 to work and soon realized that the camera was no longer working. It seems like the usb tethering is not enabled. I'm not sure if I caused this when trying the usb2 adapter or it's something else. the camera works, I tested it on my pc. And the obd2 adapter works with my phone. Is this something that can be remedied with a upgrade? or maybe a factory reset?
any help is appreciated.

It seems that Your OBD box is not from us, so we don't confirm that the compatibility problem.Hope your kind understanding.
About the USB tethering issue,you can try to plug in the usb cam alone.
Any query ,you can contact the customer service through amazon message.
