bluetooth media playback from phone issues Android 8.0 32GB+4GB

I have the Pumpkin android 8.0 unit purchased recently.

My phone connects via bluetooth fine and calls work OK. But the only way I can get audio from my phone to playback is by clicking the little music notes icon on the bluetooth screen. The joying unit I replaced would play back phone media from any screen as long as phone was connected.

How do I get the pumpkin unit to do that?

after you click the music play icon on the bluetooth page,you can place it on the background.

When radio boots up and connects to my phone, how can it start playing automatically?

Hi, the unit cannot automatically play the bluetooth music after you connect it.You can open the bluetooth music page and then place the bluetooth music program on the background .
